Community

The main goal of the Community and Research Information for Healthy Births (CRIHB) is to offer a "one stop shop" for accessing data about factors that affect Milwaukee and Wisconsin infant health outcomes.

Using a population health framework, we go beyond the "typical" data sources to explore the broad social determinants of health and how they affect a baby's well-being. We hope that this website will inform healthcare organizations, academic institutions, governmental, and community-based organizations that seek to improve birth outcomes for all races in Milwaukee.

In addition to local data and research, we also seek to provide links to community efforts and current work in the area.

Check out Every Woman Wisconsin website. The purpose of the initiative is to identify and implement evidence-based strategies that will improve the health of Wisconsin women and men of reproductive age and reduce the racial and ethnic disparities in birth outcomes.
